Ponte Sisto

This time last year, we enjoyed a few weeks in Rome, a city with many beautiful bridges. Ponte Sisto, a footbridge across the Tiber, became our favorite though, perhaps because it was so close to where we stayed on the Campo de' Fiore. We used it almost daily on our explorations around central Rome and enjoyed its friendliness and unique beauty each time we passed over.

Such a nice capture with lots of interesting features and personality. Footbridges in Europe have it all over the ones here in the USA in my opinion. They are usually quaint like this and made of stone. Like this one, they are always full of people. I like the way you were able to include some nice shadows. Lovely shot.
