Eyes on the Election

President Obama visited the heartland yesterday to begin a three day bus stump across the state of Iowa. Some four thousand Iowans and Nebraskans attended the rally held in Council Bluffs, Iowa which lies across the Missouri River from Omaha. The Presidential campaigns are kicking into high gear now for the run to the November election and Iowa is considered one of a handful of swing states critical to winning the election.

Election is an excellent word! We are going to have them next month. Obama is very popular in the Netherlands.
Thanks for taking part in this ABC meme.

Could he really go backwards ?! Politicals are so funny... (and that is just a joke) :)

I hate all the mud-slinging rhetoric, but I think Obama has his heart and mind in the right place!

This is a terrific portrait...well-done. I cannot wait for the election to be over because I am so tired of the volleys thrown back and forth across the party lines. It's really quite tiresome. I used to be excited about elections but the last decade or two have disillusioned me. I could continue, but I think any more comments would be equally tiresome to read! Kate, ABC team
