Prairie Gators

The Prairie Gators, a popular Cajun/Zydeco group in the Omaha area is seen here playing the Omaha Farmers Market last season. Vocalist, Steve Kunasek is on accordion, Howard Surber on bass and Buffalo on guitar. Steve is an artist with a remarkable mastery of the Acadian accordion and French lyrics. I marvel at his ability in capturing the traditional sound of Cajun and Zydeco masters. More images of Steve in performance here.
Catch the Prairie Gators doing their annual Mardi Gras show at the Upstream on February 16th.

Warmth oozes out of the picture - literal and figurative.
