Washaway Beach

My wife captured this striking sunset on the Washington coast a few years back
as my son and I were returning from razor clam digging at the water's edge.

Well, the Weather...

...outside is....you know, so frightful,
but in here it's so....you know, delightful!
This is the time each year we post our holiday greetings
to all our blogging community friends around the world.
Above all, we wish you each and every one
peace, love and happiness.

Swimmer Guy

It was a busy June in downtown Omaha this summer with the 2012 College World Series and the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Swim Trials events overlapping. As a sponsor of the swim team, Mutual of Omaha erected this massive sculpture of a swimmer emerging from the grounds of its midtown complex. It was a popular attraction for passersby and known affectionately, by our family anyway, as "swimmer guy."

Sunrise on the River

Seen here arriving at Memorial Park for fun and games. Indeed, a happy hound!
