Sun Singer

On a spring visit to the magnificent Allerton Park sculpture gardens near Monticello, Illinois, I caught the end of a beautiful sunny day at the base of The Sun Singer, a 16-foot-tall bronze statue of the Greek god Apollo by Swedish artist, Carl Milles.
