A new pedestrian suspension bridge and a plains Indian teepee make a striking silhouette of past and present against a new morning sky over the heartlands.
Julie, the property just below the bridge is part of the Midwest Regional National Park Service and the teepee was part of the exhibits around the building. Unfortunately, it was recently removed.
Welcome!
Omaha Lens is an effort to record and post images about day-to-day life seen through the lens of my camera, both in and around the Omaha area of the U.S heartland and from my travels elsewhere.
Hope you enjoy your visit.

Silhouettes bring out such strong geometry. They are a treat for the eye. What is the teepee doing there? Is it a permanent structure?
Fantastic picture!
That is fabulous! What a terrific shot!
Enjoy the weekend!
