Up Close
Still enjoying Thanksgiving holiday on the Gulf of Mexico in south Texas. Came upon this heron on the beach a few mornings ago and slowly moved in for a closer picture....until it took flight.

The reflection in the third photo is wonderful.
Nicely done. They tend to spook easily. When we lived in Dallas, we'd go down to Corpus Christi often (actually mostly stayed in Aransas Pass)...great times!
