For the love of soups
Just recently, I learned about a blog called A Thousand Soups which is another great source for soup recipes from the world over. Honestly, I love them all. Didn't believe there could be so many soup addicts like myself out there. Give me a scrumptious bowl of seafood gumbo anytime of any day to get the wheels rolling...or perhaps a hearty borscht, or a meaty posole, or a delicate won ton or... a steaming-hot bowl of Vietnamese pho.
No matter whether it's bitterly cold winter weather like today or a blazing-hot summer day, nothing lifts my spirits better than a bowl of Pho Bo' (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). Thankfully, there are several Vietnamese restaurants in Omaha that satisfy my weekly craving for that wonderful, nourishing comestible. Nearby home, Kim Son restaurant, where I snapped today's reflection image, serves up several tasty pho variations and many other savory dishes. Soup's on, I say! Get it while it's hot!

Super shot. I love soup as well. Bet the bowl of soup in your photo didn't last long -- it looks wonderful. I can almost smell the aroma and wish I could have a sip.
Mmmmm! That looks so good!
Thanks for the link, Raf. My husband loves soups and is even willing to learn how to cook because of it. I'm going to send him the link. ;)
Happy weekend!
I must admit that I'm not a soup addict, but I love good photos - and I liked this one :-)
Delicious reflections and a very good image.
Gosh I'm hungry! ;-)
Delicious photo of some "yummy in the tummy" looking soup! I gotta go find some breakfast...
It looks great and so does the reflections. I'll definately check out the soup site. Thanks.
I like to have pho when I have a cold. It's really good but since I moved to Pennsylvania I haven't seen any Pho places.
I love the composition of this shot, and I love the subject matter too! Is that the photographer I spy in the tea pot? Kathy
The soup looks delicious and warm. Great reflections.
