Omaha Bombed - Strange, but True


The peaceful sky seen above this quiet neighborhood intersection today was a very different scene one April night during WWII, as explained on the plaque below.

Such a clear, crisp and brilliant photo. This is the first time I've heard about the bombing. How frightening that must've been. I'm going to see what more I can learn about it. Thanks for sharing the history and your photo.
