That dog in the lower left hand corner really made a difference - both as a foreground and as indication of how long the shadows are. And not to mention the pattern of the cobblestones :-)
Perfect long shadows, and the paving pattterns make them even better. The dog looks as if he's used to waiting for the photographer!
