A is for Abandoned

Found this large sandcastle on Mustang Island beach in Texas on the morning after the July 4th festivities. It was large enough for several small children to play in and probably provided great fun during the whole weekend, but now it seemed so sad and deserted.

That's one cool looking sand castle.

I love the 'crispness' and steadfastness of the flag stood amongst the ruins of what was obviously a very fine structure. Wonderful image. x
