Worn, Weathered and Waiting...

...for the next chapter, could be this old barn's life story. After generations of providing shelter for farm animals and equipment, will it remain standing until it totally collapses like so many old barns across the American heartland?  In any case, the old weathered wood continues to reflect charm, beauty and untold stories of its own.

Hello.
If only barns could talk...I'm sure they would have many a tale to tell (smile). There's definitely something intriguing about this weathered barn. Great shot! Thanks for sharing.

Great photo! It reminded me of wandering around my uncle's dilapidated barn, partly because that would have been my 8-year-old self's perspective. Thanks for reminding me!

Whenever I pass a worn barn or house I wonder about the stories it would tell if it could talk. Then I make up a story!

Maybe your beautiful photograph could become the art piece that keeps the barn's memory alive.

It's a bit like a rose, beautiful until the very last petal falls off! Love the image and the wordage Raf.

Great shot Raf -- fortunately, I live in a rural area where the barns are in general good condition -- or, they are being torn down to make way for more crops. Progress I guess.
