Details

The Old Market district offers a glimpse of downtown Omaha buildings and streets as they were in the early past century and is now a popular entertainment and shopping attraction for visitors and locals. Here, I focused on the detail of the shiny, worn old cobblestone (actually sett) paving along 11th St as pedestrians crossed the intersection. The streets are charming but, it's not uncommon to see women in heels remove their shoes before venturing across.

Love it. Stanwood still has 2 brick streets left in town. One in west downtown area. MB
